Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport a short while ago.
He was received at the airport by Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe. He was accorded a Guard of Honor on his arrival.
He signed the special visitors' book at BIA.
Soon after his arrival, he left for Gangaramaya, Colombo to attend religious observances.
His first visit to Sri Lanka was in March in 2015.
