A ceremony to mark the 150th anniversary of the Ceylon Tea Industry was held yesterday (12th July) at the auditorium of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
At this event, which was held under the patronage of Minister of Finance and Mass Media Mangala Samaraweera a commemorative coin in the denomination of Rs 10, was issued.
Governor of the CBSL Dr. Indrajith Coomaraswamy and Minister Navin Dissanayake were also present on this occassion.
