Making a three day goodwill visit to the country the Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) Ship 'Amagiri' arrived to the country yesterday (21st Monday, August).According to Navy media, the Japanese ship was accorded a traditional Naval welcome by the Sri Lanka Navy upon its arrival at the Hambantota harbor.
During its stay in the island 'Amagiri', an Asagiri-class destroyer is scheduled to conduct a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with the Sri Lanka Navy's Offshore Patrol Vessel 'Samudura'.
