The Provincial Department of Agriculture said that steps have been taken to develop 9160 home gardens in Kegalle District in line with the National Foods Production programme conjointly with the Agrarian Services Department.
About 3140 home gardens have already been provided seeds and plants under this programme.Moreover, provision of fruit plants set of five pants will be implemented soon.
