All citizens should be very careful when using electricity as the reservoirs are only capable of producing 34% of the electricity requirement of the country said Deputy Minister of Power and Renewable Energy Ajith Perera at the weekly press briefing held today (8th Feb) at the Parliament.He said there was rain during the last few weeks but no rain was experienced in the reservoir areas, therefore we have to be very careful in using electricity.
